Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says there is no distance between Majlis and government, IRNA reported.
Addressing the newly elected members of the 9th Majlis, President Ahmadinejad said all officials are seriously engaged to drive the country further towards development and progress.
President Ahmadinejad said employment, production, agriculture and industry are main issues of the country. "If Majlis, government and all officials join hands, they can undertake big tasks and effective measures."
Elsewhere in his address, the president said unemployment as well as poverty can be addressed in less than two years.
Noting that the 9th and 10th governments have never interfered in affaires of Majlis, President Ahmadinejad said his government is not determined to intervene in Majlis issues.
