Seyyed Abbas Araqchi has been appointed as Iran's new foreign minister spokesman, Mehr reported.
The appointment comes after Ramin Mehmanparast resigned from the post in order to register for Iran's presidential race.
Araqchi also acts as Deputy Foreign Minister or Asia and Oceania.
