The 'Six' international mediators agreed on a vigorous and concrete statement on the issue of Iran's nuclear programme, ITAR-TASS reported with reference to a diplomatic source on Wednesday.
The 'Six' is going to adopt the document at a session of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Wednesday.
"The statement is agreed and will be balanced, but clearly specify that Iran has to activate efforts to implement the commitments arising from the decisions of the Board of Governors," the source said.
According to him, the mediating countries also demand from Tehran that it "intensifies the negotiating process."
"The document also stresses the fact that Iran continues its nuclear programme in defiance of UN Security Council decisions and highlights the new aspects that have appeared in recent months," he added.
He also noted that "the statement was couched in a more vigorous tone than in previous times."
"But it still remains balanced and does not close the route between Iran and the IAEA to agreements on the access to the areas to determine the possible military elements of its nuclear programme," the official added.
