An earthquake measuring 3.6 points hit the city of Varzaqan in the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan, IRNA news agency reported.
The tremors were recorded at 08:36 local time this morning, the Seismological Center of the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Tehran said.
No reports have been made on the earthquake victims.
