Some 82,000 workers in Mazandaran province's steel industries have not received their salaries for three months, the Mehr News Agency quoted MP Kamal Alipour Khonakdari as saying.
We have sent letters to the economic minister, the industry minister, and the trade minister to take measures to resolve this problem, but unfortunately no action has been taken so far, he said.
"We have also made correspondents with the president and his first deputy in this regard, but none of them were fruitful."
Mazandaran province is located in northern part of Iran near the Caspian Sea. It has 12 representatives in the Iranian parliament (Majlis).
