Iran's diesel consumption hit 152 million liters per day on August 21 which is a new record during the summer, Tasnim news portal reported.
According to the report, the average diesel consumption hit some 103.129 million liters per day during last Iranian calendar week (ended on August 23).
Average daily gasoline consumption hit about 72.586 million liters during the period, which indicates an increase by 2 percent compared to the previous week, the report said.
The average consumption of fuel oil and kerosene stood at 49.457 million and 5.729 million liters per day respectively during last week, the report said.
