Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has expressed hope that Iran would eliminate neighbours` concerns, ISNA news agency reported on Nov. 27.
Zarif made the remarks during a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu in Tehran.
He underlined that Iran pays attention to the mutual relations with its neighbours, expressing hope that mutual relations will be boosted in the future and misunderstandings would be eliminated.
Zarif said that he will visit Oman and Kuwait without unveiling an exact date of the visit.
While responding to a question about his possible visit to Saudi Arabia, Zarif said that he is planning to pay the visit.
Iran-Saudi Arabia relations experience tensions. Saudi Arabia's concerns about Iran are mainly associated to its plans of expanding influence to other parts of the Persian Gulf region as well as Iran's nuclear program.
Both Saudi Arabia and Iran have an aspiration for Islamic leadership and both countries possess different visions of regional order. While Iran is supporting Lebanese Hezbollah and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Saudi Arabia is a key supporter of Syrian regime's armed opposition.
