Thieves robbed German tourist family's money and documents, Iran newspaper reported on Dec. 3.

The incident happened last week in Iranian central city of Karaj, where two young thieves robbed Ivan Christian and his family of important documents, including passports, driving license, credit cards as well as cash and camera. The family's belongings were stolen from their car.

A security camera has captured the incident, Christian said underlining that he has delivered the footage to the police.

While the police have not been able to arrest the thieves so far, German tourists seem to be losing their hopes day after day, since they have to return to Germany within the next two weeks.

Christian said that he's willing to pay the thieves money, in return for stolen documents.

He even went as far as sticking a piece of paper on his car, saying "Dear thieves! You can keep all the stolen things as a gift from me, but please return our documents."
