Iran has turned the T-33 training jet into the large-scale "Khodkar" drone, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
The presentation of the Khodkar drone was held during an exhibition of the achievements of the Iranian Air Force at the Shahid Lashgari Air Base in Iran,
Cancellation of the hydraulic system, application of electromechanic functions, immediate transmission of sensory data to the autopilot system, the use of the INS/GPS transmission system, and transmission of high-quality images were remarked as the drone’s features.
Moreover, it was noted that with the J33 engine being switched to the J85 engine, the Khodkar drone is expected to have a higher functionality.
