The Airbus A330-200 of Iran Air, was delivered to the hangar of the Airbus located at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran for the first C Check, Trend reports citing the official website of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.

The aircraft will return to flight line between 10 and 15 days after the check.

The "C check" is performed approximately every 20–24 months or a specific amount of actual flight hours (FH) or as defined by the manufacturer. This maintenance check is much more extensive than a "B check", requiring a large majority of the aircraft’s components to be inspected.

Airbus A330-200 and

EP-IJA or Juliet Alpha, is the aircraft which was delivered to Iran after signing JCPOA in 2015 and the first Airbus A330-200, that joined the Iran air fleet.

The aircraft, along with the other A330's, is one of the most modern in Iran.

These two aircrafts are currently the main ones which are used for far destination including European countries.
