TEHRAN, Iran, Oct. 20

Iran is seeking to expand cooperation with Venezuela, which includes co-operation in the oil sector within 20 years, as part of a 'roadmap', said former Iranian Ambassador in Venezuela Ahmad Sobhani, Trend reports citing ILNA.

Iran has the possibility to help oil and petrochemical industries in Venezuela by providing necessary parts and petroleum supplies, said Sobhani.

Venezuela is a big producer of alumina and could form useful cooperation with Iran, while the Islamic republic has been exporting gasoline to Venezuela.

Venezuela is considered a good market for Iran's exports of medicine, food items, technical , mining and contractors services.
