BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 4. Iran’s Bushehr province, located in the south of Iran, exported 5.05 million tons of non-oil products worth $1.87 billion abroad for the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 20, 2024), Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani told reporters in Bushehr on June 3, Trend reports.
According to Soleimani, the province's goods were mainly exported to China, the UAE, India, Türkiye, Pakistan, and other countries.
The official said the main exported goods consist of petrochemical products, gas condensate, construction materials, cement, various species of fish, shrimp, and vegetables.
To note, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 20, 2024), the export of non-oil products of Iran amounted to 23.5 million tons worth $8 billion.
Additionally, Iran's non-oil exports grew by 3.8 percent in value and 8.5 percent in weight in the reporting period compared to the same period in the last Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023).
