(IRNA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is arriving in Iran on Tuesday for a two-day visit upon an invitation of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, an informed source at the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on Monday, reports Trend.
Speaking to IRNA, the source added that Al-Maliki will meet with President Ahmadinejad and other senior Iranian officials.
Talks will center on ways of bolstering bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments, particularly the current situation in Iraq.
Several Iraqi cabinet ministers and National Assembly deputies will be in the delegation accompanying the prime minister.
