(IRNA) - Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks Tuesday night with European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana and his Canadian counterpart, Peter MacKay, on Iran's nuclear case on telephone, reports Trend.
China's Xinhua official news agency gave no details of the talks, saying only that Li held separate phone conversations with Solana and MacKay.
Xinhua added that the sides also discussed the North Korea nuclear issue.
Solana expressed the EU's willingness to help diffuse current tensions.
