(IRNA) - German foreign ministry spokesman Martin Jaeger rejected a western news agency report which said European Union foreign ministers are to formally terminate negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program.
Speaking at a government news conference in Berlin, Jaeger branded the report "nuisance".
"We have made clear in London that we are ready to return for talks with Iran at any time. We are reaching out our hand. The offer is on the table, it only requires strong signals from Iran," Jaeger added.
Tehran has repeatedly stated it is ready to resume nuclear talks with the EU without any pre-conditions, reports Trend.
