(IRNA) - Turkey is willing to broaden industrial relations with neighboring Iran, said a Turkish official here on Thursday.
Turkish Deputy Minister of industry Adam Shahin, who visited Iran's stand in 11th international car exhibition, said the presence of Iranian car manufacturer Iran Khodro is an example of good bilateral ties, reports Trend.
He told IRNA that Turkey's relations with Iran are based on two principles, namely expansion of relations within cooperation among member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in which both countries are involved, and also his country's key decision to bolster ties with neighboring countries including Iran.
In the 11th international car exhibition, named `Auto Show 2006', 32 famous car makers have put on show some 100 different models of the latest designs.
Iran has presented its 1600 cc Samand LX car in this international show.
