Tehran for cooperation with Moscow to settle regional problems
(IRNA) - Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani here Friday stressed significance of Tehran-Moscow cooperation for settlement of regional problems, reports Trend.
In a meeting with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov, Larijani said Russia holds a balancing position in international and regional issues and Iran too plays an important role in guaranteeing regional stability and security.
Ivanov in return stressed continued dialogue between Tehran and Moscow, hoping that the two sides would be able to win a significant share in safeguarding regional peace and stability and asked for promotion of bilateral ties.
The two sides then held negotiations behind closed doors.
