(abcnews) - One of the biggest developments in widescreen TVs was the introduction of DLP projection, which gave consumers high-definition video at home without the inherent problems, such as burn-in, of comparable plasma monitors, reports Trend.

Now Samsung has made DLP even better with its HL-S5679W HDTV ($4,199). It's the first DLP set to use an LCD light source, which means it gives you an even better picture than standard DLP sets. It also has a convenient DVI input to connect your PC, a USB port for looking at photos or listening to music, and a built-in tuner to get free HDTV signals.
