(IRNA) - The official in charge of Iran's trade attaches and commercial centers abroad announced the establishment of Iranian trade centers in some African and Central Asian countries as well as Iraq and Afghanistan.

Director for Organization of Trade Promotion (OTP) Qassem Farajollahi said on Wednesday that establishment of these centers helps the objective of promotion for Iranian made goods and technical and engineering services and capabilities.

He added these centers can introduce the needs of the target markets to local producers and exporters, reports Trend.

Farajollahi pointed out that the OTP has undertaken expanded measures for establishment of commercial centers in Central Asian, Caucasians and Persian Gulf states, and above all African countries, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The official warned that if these centers do not start working as soon as possible, competitor countries which try hard for presence in these markets, Iran would be left behind.

Farajollahi noted that these centers would work temporarily with the participation of the OTP and production and exports sections to introduce commodities and technical and engineering services to the markets of target countries.
