US refining margins rose last week, gaining $1.31 to average $8.65 per barrel, according to analysts at AG Edwards. Margins were highest on the West Coast, where they averaged more than $15/bbl. For the year so far, US margins are averaging more than $8/bbl, said Energy Intelligence Group, Trend reports.
Singapore margins also increased, rising 66Сћ to average $6.01/bbl last week. So far in 2007, margins are averaging roughly $4.65/bbl.
European margins were a negative 29Сћ/bbl last week, down 32Сћ from the prior week.
