(www.mobilemag.com) вЂ" There are laptops for business users and then there are units like the newly announced HP Pavilion tx1000, an "entertainment" laptop that comes with Tablet PC functionality. In this way, the 12.1-inch wide-aspect display can flip up the way it does on a usual notebook, but you'll also notice that it can "twist" to provide whatever viewing angle you'd like. To get the Tablet PC part of the picture, simply rotate the screen all the way around and enjoy the "touch" part of the "Twist and Touch" tagline.

Powered by an AMD Turion 64x2 processor, the tx1000 runs on the newly released Windows Vista. The rest of the picture sounds awfully sweet as well with an integrated webcam, dual microphones, biometric fingerprint reader for security, and a mini remote control for Media Center goodness without wires. What's more, you can access all your multimedia without booting up the computer by using HP QuickPlay 3.0.

No word on pricing or availability, but that glossy patterned black cover looks incredibly sweet.
