By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Some 90,000 metric tons of oil products have been exported via Iran's eastern South Korasan province to Afghanistan since the beginning of the year.
Mohammad-Ali Khashi, director general of South Korasan customs department, said 3,600 trucks carried raffinate, solvents, base oil, thinners, fuel additives, hydraulic oils, diesel, fertilizers, and hydrocarbons to Afghanistan, Iran's Mehr news agency reported Oct. 29.
The current Iranian year began on March 21.
He added that over $95 million of non-oil goods, mainly moquette, tiles and ceramics, cement, barberry, and canned food have also been exported from the province. Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, and Germany were the targets for the South Korasan non-oil goods, he noted.
