The US multinational conglomerate General Electric is looking at business opportunities in Iran, a spokesperson with the company said.
In line with the easing of sanctions against Iran, the company started looking at potential business opportunities in Iran, the spokesperson told Trend March 15.
The spokesperson further said that the company is fully complying with the rules laid out by the US government in this regard.
Iranian oil minister, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said March 13 that there is no limitation for US companies to invest in Iran's oil and gas industry.
He further said that the ministry is negotiating with the US General Electric over oil and gas cooperation, referring to the talks as positive.
