The Islamic Кepublic will establish Iran-Europe trade development center to facilitate business with European countries, Reza Alikhanzadeh, an official with Iran's Central Chamber of Cooperative (ICC), said, Mehr news agency reported Apr. 27.
The center will be established with the investmen from the ICC, Alikhanzadeh, who heads the ICC's Investment Commissions, said, adding that a memorandum of understanding(MoU) has been signed with Czech Chamber of Commerce on the issue.
He further said that the center will identify the European firms which can meet the needs of Iranian companies.
Trade cooperation with other countries is also among the purposes of the center's formation, he added.
Headquartered in Iran, the center will prepare grounds for export of Iranian goods, in particular knowledge-based products to European countries, Alikhanzadeh said.
He also said that Czech Republic was chosen due to its advanced industries.
The country can act as a bridge for export of Iranian goods to the EU, he added.
