Tehran, Iran, June 13
By Mehdi Sepahvand - Trend:
In a few days the output of Iran's Kavian Petrochemical Complex will improve by 60 percent.
The increase will follow the injection of ethane into the units of the factory's phase 2, the company's CEO Ramezan Oladi said, SHANA news agency reported June 13.
Once the second phase comes on stream, the factory will be producing over two million tons of ethylene per year.
The factory's output is carried via pipeline to petrochemical complexes of Luristan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Andimeshk, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Mahabad, and Miandoab, and units in Mahshahr special economic zone.
Kavian petrochemical plant is the world's largest ethylene producing unit, according to Iranian officials.
