Iran exports $27B worth of oil in 2015 - OPEC

Iran's petroleum export revenues reached $27.308 billion in 2015, while its total exports (oil and non-oil) stood at $77.974 billion, OPEC Annual Statistical Bulletin said on June 22.

The country's oil export revenues almost halved last year, compared to 2014. The figure was $114.751 billion in 2011, before got imposed with western sanctions.

The report says Iran's proved oil reserves increased by 0.6 billion barrels to 158.4 billion barrels year-to-year in 2015.

Iran produced 3.151 million barrels per day (mb/d) of oil last year, 40,000 barrels per day more than the previous year. Its active rigs decreased by 5 to 130, but the number of completed wells increased by 58 to 2,339 last year, compared to 2014.

Iran's refinery capacity remained unchanged at 1.781 (mb/d).
