TSE main index increases by 240 points

Tehran Stock Exchange’s (TSE) main index increased by 242 points or 0.31 percent to end trade at 78,091 on Oct. 19.

According to the TSE official website, 1.014 billion shares valued at $ 67.2 million (2.129 trillion rials according to the official rate 31,666 rials per each USD) were traded for the day.

Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company Jam Petrochemical Complex, Mines and Metal development Investment Company and Iran Khodro were among the companies that imposed the highest positive effect on the TSE index.

Meanwhile, Pardis Petrochemical Co, Iranian Investment Petrochemical Group (IIPG), Fars & Khuzestan Cement Co. and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, had the biggest negative impact on the TSE index.

The Price Index went up 85.9 points or 0.31 percent to end at 27,706.9.

The First Market Index inched up 155.8 points or 0.29 percent to post 54,677.

The Second Market Index surged 609.6 points or 0.36 percent to reach 170,581.6.

The Industry Index hiked 253.8 points or 0.39 percent to hit 65,270.
