The deal covers cooperation in design and engineering of various ships, Iran's industry, mines and trade ministry's official SHATA news portal reported.

The deal will contribute to Iran’s plan of manufacturing the seventh generation of ultra-large ships.

ISOICO earlier signed a MoU on cooperation with German Nordic Shipbuilding Company, aimed at transferring know-how in the field of software, construction of oil drilling rigs (Jack-up), ships and equipment as well as creating new markets and using each other's capacities.

The Iranian company has also signed similar co-op documents with Netherlands’ Royal IHC and South Korean Hyundai.
