Iran’s non-oil exports increase by 8%

Iran exported some 102.043 million tons of non-oil goods during the first ten months of the current fiscal year (March 20, 2016-Jan. 20), which is 34 percent more compared with the 10-month period of preceding year, said the latest statistics released by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI).

Iran's non-oil exports (including condensates) surpassed $35.27 billion during the first ten months of the current fiscal year, indicating a rise by 8 percent compared to the same period of the preceding year.

Gas condensates worth $6.026 billion (59 percent increase), liquefied natural gas worth $1.952 billion (9 percent fall), light oils and products (except for gasoline) worth $1.345 billion (201 percent increase), petroleum gases and liquefied gas hydrocarbons worth $1.068 billion (24 percent fall), liquefied propane worth $990 million(14 percent fall), pistachio worth $820 million(38 percent increase), polyethylene grid film worth $796 million( 9 percent fall), methanol worth $720 million (6 percent fall), liquefied butane worth $617 million(15 percent fall) and urea worth $610 million(12 percent decrease) topped the list of Iran's exported non-oil goods.

Iran includes gas condensate and some raw hydrocarbon products like propane, butane, etc in its non-oil export basket.

The average price for each ton of Iran's non-oil goods in the mentioned period was around $346, which is 19 percent less than in the previous year.
