Loading, unloading at Iranian ports up by 17%

Total amount of the products loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports over the 11th month of the Iranian calendar (January 20 - Feb 18) has increased by 17 percent, year-on-year.

According to the latest statistics by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization, more than 26.219 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded and unloaded at about 28 ports across the country over the mentioned period.

The statistics also suggest that the volume of the non-oil products (loaded and unloaded), has increased by 21 percent, reaching 10.406 million tons.

In the meantime, the figure for oil products grew by 14 percent as 15.812 million tons of commodities and crude oil were loaded and unloaded in the mentioned period.

Meanwhile, 19.72 million tons of oil and non-oil products were loaded at the country’s ports.

The figure for loading of oil products and crude oil in the mentioned period stood at 13.278 million tons.

According to the statistics, 2.534 million tons of oil products and crude oil were unloaded in the mentioned period.

Iran also unloaded 3.964 million tons of non-oil products at its ports over the mentioned period.
