The following is a numbered list of news on latest economic developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, as of 11:00 GMT, Sept. 24, on IRINN TV.

1. 11:03 GMT – The Iranian first vice-president, Eshaq Jahangiri, inaugurated 11th IranPlast fair in Tehran. Oil Minister Bizhan Namdar Zanganeh also addressed the opening ceremony.

2. 11:06 GMT – Ali Salehabadi, the head of Export Development Bank of Iran, briefs about the recent financial agreement between Iran and Austria’s Oberbank on providing 14 Iranian banks with one billion euro loan.

3. 11:07 GMT – The head of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, Mojtaba Khosrotaj, criticized high risk and costs of international banking transactions for Iran. (Report includes details on Iran’s foreign trade)

4. 11:09 GMT – Report on prices of gold in the Iranian market. Per gold coin was traded at 12,437,000 rials (about $319.4 according to the currency rate in free market) on Sunday. Per gram of the 18-karat gold priced at 1,210,000 rials (about $31).

5. 11:09 GMT – Report on the rate of foreign currencies in the Iranian market. Per euro valued 46,485 rials in the free market dropping 122 rials compared to the preceding day. The US dollar lost 38 rials to stand at 38,937 rials.

6. 11:10 GMT – Report on the performance of the Tehran Stock Exchange Market (TSE). The main index of the TSE lost 209.6 points or 0.24 percent to stand at 85588.8 points.

7. 11:11 GMT – TSE plans to list 40 new firms in the equity market.
