Iran’s electric company to hold int’l tender on power transmission project

The Esfahan Regional Electric Company (EREC), a subsidiary of Tavanir company, which is fully owned by Iran’s Ministry of Energy, intends to hold an international tender for implementing Esfahan power transmission ‎ project.

The EREC has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Esfahan Power Transmission project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for payments under EPC contract for construction of transmission lines connected to five high voltage substations.
