The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Dec. 5:
Export floor: Offers 100,360 tons of bitumen and 1,000 tons of lube cut oil.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 213,849 tons of polymers, bitumen, vacuum bottom feedstock and sulfur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 20,000 tons of bloom ingot and 30,000 tons of type C slab from Khuzestan Steel Co., as well as 1,000 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots and 500 tons of aluminum billets from Iranian Aluminium Company (Iralco).
Agriculture floor: Offers 200,000 day-old chickens, 348,000 tons of wheat, 10,000 tons of soybean meal, 5,500 tons of sugar, and 1,000 tons of crude vegetable oil.
Furthermore, the side market of IME will witness offering of 1,000 tons of palm oil imported from Malaysia.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
