The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 16:
Export floor: Offers 114,000 tons of bitumen, 1,000 tons of sulphur, 1,000 tons of lube cut oil and 500 tons of insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 41,235 tons of polymers including various grades of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride as well as 62,000 tons of bitumen and 8,000 tons of vacuum bottom feed stock.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,600 tons of aluminium ingots and billets.
Agriculture floor: Offers 25,000 day-old chickens, 15,200 tons of wheat, 5,900 tons of sugar, 600 tons of sunflower oil, 600 tons of soybean oil, 800 tons of colza oil, 5,000 tons of feed barley and 170 tons of large lentil as well as 5,549 tons of corn.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 600 tons of palm oil from Malaysia and 20 tons of lactic butter from Germany and Belgium.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets. There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
