The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Jan. 30:
Export floor: Offers 111,000 tons of bitumen, lube cut oil and sulphur.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 48,537 tons of various polymers (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride), 2,600 tons of bitumen, 25,000 tons of vacuum bottom feed stock and 2,000 tons of sulphur.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 1,600 tons of aluminum billet and ingot, 1,110 tons of sulphur molybdenum and 10,000 tons of cement type 5.
Agriculture floor: Offers 23,200 tons of wheat, 4,150 tons of sugar, 500 tons of sunflower oil, 500 tons of soybean oil, 500 tons of colza oil and 170 tons of large lentil as well as 2,331 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 3,500 tons of palm oil from Malaysia, 20 tons of lactic butter from Belgium and Germany and 5,000 tons of liquid nitrogen fertilizer.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
