The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for March 11:
Export floor: Offers 65,630 tons of bitumen and insulation.
Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 88,940 tons of chemicals, bitumen, polymers, vacuum bottom feed stock and slack wax.
Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 31,000 tons of iron ore, 23,400 tons of mixed rebar basket, 1,500 tons of 1000 lb aluminum ingots and 1,040 tons of aluminium billets as well as 20 tons of aluminium alloy ingots and 50 Cerato passenger cars.
Agriculture floor: Offers 461,000 day-old chicks, 26,000 tons of wheat, 5,750 tons of sugar, 20 tons of rice(Hashemi sort), 3,100 tons of crude vegetable oil and 500 kilograms of saffron.
Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 192 tons of frozen meat, 1,000 tons of olein raw oil, 1,000 tons of phosphate concentrate.
The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.
There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
