Performance of Iran’s gold & currency markets on April 22

The gold coin was traded in Iran at 18,200,000 rials (about $433.3) on April 22, indicating a fall of 0.82 percent compared to the preceding day.

According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,702,630 rials (about $40.5), dropping 0.41 percent.

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of US dollar at 42,000 rials, euro at 51,610 rials, Pound Sterling at 58,812 rials, the Russian ruble at 685 rials, Azerbaijan's manat at 24,708 rials and Turkey's lira at 10304.
