Eighty percent of Iran's entire exports accounted for 500 Iranian companies, Chairman of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization and Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mojtaba Khosrotaj said.
Khosrotaj made the remarks at the awarding ceremony of exporters selected by the Iran Export Guarantee Fund.
He added that Iraq’s and Afghanistan’s markets are of great importance in exports.
Exports to Iraq increased by 57 percent in the first seven months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Khosrotaj said.
He said that therefore, the Iranian Export Guarantee Fund must establish an office in Iraq.
