Trend:

Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade ruled out the news about lifting the ban on the import of used goods, emphasizing that the recent regulations of the Export and Import Bureau do not authorize the import of used goods.

The Third Circular of the Export and Import Bureau does not in any way mean an import license for used goods, the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade announced, Trend reports citing the ministry’s official website.

“This directive does not in any way mean the liberalization of the import of used goods in mass and in all commodity groups – it is about the possibility of importing used non-consumable capital and industrial goods with the inability to produce inside the country,” the ministry said.
