This Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), Iran exported metal products worth $1.13 billion to Iraq, Secretary General of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce Hamid Hosseini said, Trend reports with reference to IRNA.
He said that last year, Iran exported metal products worth $450 million to Iraq. He added that in total, Iran exported goods worth $8.7 billion last Iranian year (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019), surpassing China and Turkey in exports to Iraq.
“Iran exports all kinds of products to Iraq,” he said. “Iran’s participation in the Iraqi market can be long-lasting, if exports are provided alongside services.”
According to the latest report by Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, from March 21 to April 20, 2019, Iran exported products worth $389 million to Iraq, while value the goods imported from Iraq amounted to $6 million.
