Loading and unloading of oil products via Chabahar port in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan Province during the three months (March 21- June 21) of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019) increased by 69 percent, ports and maritime director general of Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan province Behrooz Aghaei said, Trend reports with reference to the website of the ports and maritime administration of the province.
He said that in general, the loading and unloading of oil and non-oil products in the port increased by 37 percent compared to the same period last year.
He added that over 3 months, the loading and unloading of non-oil products in the port increased by 100 percent.
He noted that the number of ships with capacity of over 1,000 tons that arrived in the port increased by 29 percent during the reporting period.
