Iran's Central Organization for Rural Cooperatives discloses volume of exports

Within 16 months, 114,990 tons of various agricultural products worth 461.5 billion rials (about $10.9 million) have been exported by affiliates of the Central Organization for Rural Cooperatives (CORC) of Iran, said Deputy Agriculture Minister and CORC Managing Director Hossein Shirzad, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
He noted that this export was carried out last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019) and during the four months (March 21 - July 22) of this year (started March 21, 2019).
He added that agricultural products were exported to 18 countries. “The products were mainly exported to Germany, Russia and Iraq,” he said.
He noted that dates, onions, garlic, raisins, apples and other fruits comprised the main items exported during this period.
