Over the past two years, medical equipment worth over 600 million euros were exported from Iran to Iraq, Iranian commercial attaché in Iraq Naser Behzad said, Trend reports citing Shata news agency.

Behzad said that this number can be increased five times by applying necessary programs, adding that Iran’s private sector can supply the Iraqi market with medical equipment and products.

“Negotiations were held with the Iraqi Ministry of Healthcare and Iraqi companies regarding expansion of the export of medical equipment to Iraq by the Iranian companies, and agreements were signed,” Iranian commercial attaché noted.
