The draft budget for the next Iranian year (from March 21, 2020, through March 21, 2021) worth 4.84 quadrillion rials (about $115 billion) was submitted to the Iranian parliament, Trend reports referring to Mehr news agency.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani made a speech in the parliament and presented the draft budget.
The draft budget for the next year reaches 19.8 quadrillion rials (about $473 billion) in terms of reserves.
The net profit of the Iranian ministries and state enterprises will reach 792 trillion rials (about $18.8 billion).
The budget for the next year was approved by the Iranian Cabinet of Ministers on Dec. 4. It shall be also approved by the Iranian parliament.
Furthermore, as expected, the revenues of state-owned companies, banks and financial institutions are estimated to reach at 14.8 quadrillion rials (about $353.3 billion).
