Iran's Central Bank discloses amount of loans issued for trade sector

Iranian banks and financial organizations issued loans worth $28.7 billion for the trade sector during nine months (from March 21 through Dec. 21) of this Iranian year (began on March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the report by Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

The loans worth over $1 billion were issued to create the facilities, while the loans worth $10.8 billion were issued to ensure working capital in the trade sector.

According to CBI, the loans worth $75.2 million were issued for repair, and the loans worth over $3 billion for development projects in this sector.

The loans worth $13.2 billion were issued for the purchase of products (including equipment) and the loans worth $101 million - for the purchase of housing, the report said.

The funds worth $358 million were allocated for other purposes in the trade sector.
