IKCO Dena Plus Turbo car was produced by Iran Khodro engineers without any foreign consultation, IKCO Dena Plus Turbo project manager Hassan Bohlouli said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The IKCO Dena Plus (stylized as Dena +) is a compact sedan produced by Iranian automaker Iran Khodro (IKCO). The IKCO Dena Plus is the premium version of the Dena, which is the successor to the Samand/Soren.
"The most important activities of Iran Khodro Research Center in this project without using foreign consultants, is locating and adapting the gearbox on the EF7-TC engine and designing the front wheels suspension system,”Bohlouli said.
He announced that the daily production of these cars amounted to 200 since June.
Bohlouli pointed out that the car has passed the national environmental standards.
Among the car's advantages he named a 6-speed gearbox, electric power steering system, standard and up-to-date options, high safety and engine cooling system.
The car was unveiled for the first time in February by President Hassan Rouhani.
