The traffic of trucks passing through the Bazargan border (Iran), which had faced problems in the past few days, was facilitated, following the negotiations between the customs officials of Iran and Turkey, Trend reports via ISNA.
The Iranian customs officials have announced that over 500 trucks formed a long line at the Bazargan border customs.
“Following the Iranian Custom`s negotiations with Turkish customs officials, the problem of stopping trucks carrying goods at the Bazargan border was partially resolved and the volume of trucks behind the border was reduced,” Director General of Customs International Cooperation Department Hossein Kakhki said.
His report on the traffic situation of trucks carrying export and transit goods crossing the Bazargan border yesterday, has shown that 346 trucks entered Turkey through the Bazargan border, of which 299 were Iranian trucks and 47 trucks of other countries.
