Iranian government's inaugurated projects in industrial and water sectors during the current Iranian year (started March 20,2020) were worth $30 billion," Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said, Trend reports via IRNA.
"The government will continue to inaugurate projects in the next Iranian year (starts March 21,2021)," Rouhani said.
"We have inaugurated 58 mega projects in the current Iranian year (started March 20,2020)," said the president.
"Inauguration of 12 mega petrochemical projects and Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refinery Project worth $3.5 billion was done in the current Iranian year - was an achievement," he said.
Rouhani also said that inauguration of projects to transfer water in Hormozgan, Kerman and Yazd provinces was done in t he last says of the current Iranian year, so now these provinces have access to fresh water.
"In the water and power sector, the government has inaugurated the 49th national dam on Tuesday, and by the end of the government's ruling term (June 2021), 57 more dams would be launched," he said.
Rouhani also pointed out that the government has provided free water, electricity and gas to low income individuals that are low on energy consumption.
