Iran`s Customs Administration announced that the consignment of parts and equipment of the Coronavirus vaccine production line has been imported and cleared on Saturday.
The deputy customs chief Mehrdad Jamal Arvanaghi announced that cargo arrived at Imam Khomeini Airport from China by Mahan Airlines, Trend reports citing ISNA.
“Customs supervision has been carried out in the shortest time,” he said.
He added that the imported cargo contains parts of the Covid-19 vaccine production line, including cleanroom equipment and parts of the vial washing machine.
So far, Iran has imported the Covid-19 vaccine in several parts, a total of more than two million doses of vaccine have been imported and provided to the Ministry of Health.
Six shipments of 620,000 doses of Russian vaccine, two shipments of 650,000 doses of Chinese vaccine, 125,000 doses of Indian vaccine, and 700,000 doses of Covax vaccine from South Korea, imported to Iran so far.
