The construction progress of Isfahan- Baharestan subway has reached 70 percent, said the head of Iran's Plan and Budget Organization Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, Trend reports via Mehr News Agency.
"The progress of projects in Isfahan Province is improving fast, and one of them includes the Isfahan-Baharestan subway," said Nobakht.
He went on to say that the progress of the construction is a clear evidence that the project is a priority. Nobakht made the remark during his talks with Isfahan governor and other officials.
"Considering the execution pace of the project, the government will provide additional funds to complete it by July 2021," said the official.
"We have assigned some $83 million worth of credit to this project last Iranian year (started March 20,2020)," he said.
Isfahan governor said that it is expected that the project would be wrapped up by September 22 due to its fast pace of progress.
